It's That Time Of Year! Again ...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. It’s been a very tough year as we moved from the metaphorical icy roads of the pandemic to the actual icy roads of this winter. Your continued support and dedication to your profession this year has been credible and we thank you all. We hope that 2022 will bring easier conditions all round!

Below are a few things we wanted to draw your attention to, such as changes to the instrutor portals, our automated SMS system, personalised websites and our partnership with Theory Test Pro. 

Instructor Portals

We have made several changes to the instructor portals, which we have highlighted below: 

Current Pupil Status
We want to make sure that you are supplied with the correct level of pupils in accordance with how busy you are. We have instroduced a three tier system;

– Fully Booked (Red): You do not need any pupils leads.
– A Few Gaps (Orange): You have a few gaps in your diary and would like a steady flow of leads.
– Plenty of Availability (Green): You have plenty of gaps and need pupils sent as a priorty.

We will always try to support you with filling your diary up. Pupil leads are not always consistent but we have several marketing channels we can use to get you the leads. Please keep up us to date using your portal with how busy you are.   

Instructor Websites
We are giving all of our instructors the opportunity to have their own website built. We have partnered with Driving Instructor Websites to do this, as part of your franchise. Please fill in their form and mention you are a New Driver Instructor to have one built. 

Theory Test Pro
We have also partnered with Theory Test Pro to provide theory test help for all of your students. With over 1,000,000 reviews they are market leaders in online theory test help. Simply provide us with your students name/email address and we will sign them up (but don’t forget to tell us when they have passed as well!). 

New SMS System

You may have also noticed a few changes to our SMS pupil messages. We wanted to give you as much information as possible on the pupil leads, so we have added an ‘additional information’ section. This comes straight from the pupil and provides additional information on whether they have driven before, test dates etc. We will also use this section to communicate from, such as if the pupil has gift vouchers. In this case we will start the message with ‘Message from office:’. Please be aware these messages are semi automated and although we do try and check them we can not guarentee we will see your replies. Where possible please use the portal otherwise the best number to text on is 07418364905 – this is an online number that the whole office has access to. If you need a reminder of the best phone numbers to use please refer back to issue one where we explain all of our contact numbers.
